As a key member of our team, reporting to the Associate Director of Client Operations, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing a team of fund accountants, providing mentorship and support through training and professional development.
- Delivering comprehensive fund accounting services to private equity clients, including NAV review and preparation, accruals assessment, security pricing, and cash and security position reconciliations.
- Ensuring accurate pricing of portfolios in accordance with relevant fund documents and valuation policies.
- Calculating and allocating capital calls and distributions.
- Preparing fee schedules, including management fee calculations and waterfall distributions, ensuring compliance with applicable fund documents.
- Managing investor allocations for each NAV cycle, ensuring correct booking of capital transactions and accurate P&L allocation.
- Compiling NAV packages and other ad hoc deliverables as specified in service level agreements.
- Addressing additional requests and projects as needed.
- Engaging with internal MUFG teams and external clients to ensure all deliverables and requests are fulfilled.
- Reviewing audited financial statements, providing audit assistance, and delivering other regulatory services as required.
- Examining client Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), and other documentation to ensure service levels align with legal requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A university degree or professional designation such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc., is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Fund Administration, with at least 2 years in a Private Equity setting.
- Familiarity with Private Equity accounting systems, preferably Investran.
- Strong understanding of Private Equity structures, regulatory requirements, and waterfall calculations.
- Experience in reviewing Limited Partnership Agreements and Offering Memorandums.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills and experience in coaching or mentoring.
