Job Summary

Porter Airlines is seeking a highly skilled Coordinator, Warranty & Repair to manage warranty repairs for our aircraft components. As the point person for warranty administration, you will ensure we recoup costs from manufacturers for parts and repairs covered under warranty, while maintaining positive relationships with our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create repair orders for defective aircraft parts and components, outlining the specific issue, warranty details, and required repairs.
  • Process warranty claims for purchase and repair of aircraft parts and tooling.
  • Review warranty agreements and technical documents, including Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives, to identify warranty coverage.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, repair facilities, and internal departments to track repair progress, expedite overdue repairs, and reconcile invoicing issues.
  • Analyze repair quotes ensuring compliance with warranty terms and identifying any discrepancies.
  • Manage the return of unserviceable components for our exchange program.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warranty administration, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Strong understanding of warranty principles and contractual agreements.
  • Previous experience in a technical repair role within aviation required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with AMOS an asset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
