Warranty Claims Coordinator

Job Title: Warranty Coordinator

Reporting To: Warranty Manager

Department: Home Services

Rate of Pay: Range 2 as per the Collective Agreement

Location: Enercare

Hours: 35 hours per week: Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 2:30 pm

This position plays a crucial role in the product and parts supply chain, responsible for processing and controlling warranty and part returns through the Warranty Department on behalf of the Service Patches and Districts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with product and parts suppliers regarding warranty claims and procedures
  • Screen, qualify, and prepare warranty claim/performance reports
  • Track return parts/products for warranty or vendor credit
  • Reconcile claims, update system, and resubmit as required
  • Sort and scrap parts
  • Credit appropriate patches/districts for credit received

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Excellent computer skills (Access, Clarify, Excel, Good working knowledge of GERS)
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of all warehouse processes and how they relate to end customer satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, results-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift 40 to 80 lbs.
  • Forklift License in place, or willing to be trained, (re-)certified
  • Willing to work in a team environment and able to work in a warehouse environment, safety shoes are mandatory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressure-filled area
