Position Overview

The Business Systems Analyst and Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in analyzing and documenting business requirements to facilitate projects for designated programs and services. This position involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance business systems, develop solutions, and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of current business systems and processes, generating insights and formulating recommendations to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Implement effective risk assessment processes, identifying mitigation strategies and monitoring risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding project progress and any associated risks.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of existing processes, contributing to the development of specifications and testing for system modifications.
  • Offer user support and guidance, developing training materials and delivering training sessions to ensure effective use of systems.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field, along with five years of relevant experience in project planning and implementation.
  • Proven ability in business process mapping and gap analysis, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Commitment to fostering reconciliation and understanding of Indigenous Peoples' rights and historical contexts.
  • Knowledge of anti-racism initiatives and cultural safety practices is considered a strong asset.
