ServiceNow Functional Analyst

Our client is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Functional Analyst to engage in a contract role.

The selected Consultant will deliver Functional Analysis, Configuration, and Development services for the project. This position demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in providing these services, a comprehensive understanding of business processes, and the ability to facilitate collaborative sessions with both business and IT teams. The role involves extracting requirements, designing solutions, and recommending enhancements, along with hands-on experience in making configuration adjustments and ensuring thorough documentation and knowledge transfer to team members.

The work arrangement is hybrid, and the individual will be accountable for any travel or related expenses incurred while providing services.

Key Qualifications

  • Certified ServiceNow Application Developer and System Administrator
  • In-depth expertise in the ServiceNow ITSM platform and service management modules
  • Proven experience with 3-5 significant ServiceNow projects
  • At least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow configuration and development
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze specifications for configuration and development changes, create test scripts, implement changes, conduct testing, and manage documentation throughout the software lifecycle
  • Strong foundation in business analysis, best practices, and methodologies, including requirements tracing and validation during testing
  • Solid experience as a functional analyst with application integrations and comprehensive use cases for system integration
  • Ability to effectively facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document outcomes clearly
  • Self-motivated individual with robust analytical and problem-solving skills, who proactively suggests process improvements and automation
  • Demonstrated experience in creating user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes, and data mappings
  • Familiarity with user interface (UI) design
  • Experience working within Agile Methodology
  • Knowledge of full lifecycle application development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly skilled in addressing a wide range of inquiries and responding appropriately
  • Experienced in managing multiple tasks concurrently and thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed, proactive, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Public Sector experience is preferred
