WSP is currently seeking a **Project Coordinator **to join our Transportation - Alternative Delivery Department, located in the GTA. Reporting to the project Manager, this position will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of complex P3 and alternative delivery projects. These will include major transportation infrastructure such as highways, transit, airports and rail.

**What you can expect do here**:

- Perform project coordination activities for the delivery of the technical milestones and phases of the project;
- Communicate with various project teams to assist with the monitoring and control of budgets, schedules and deadlines
- Collaborate with the Project Controls teams to create and update project budgets and schedules, flagging issues to the Project Manager
- Liaison with the project team, clients, subcontractors, and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulatory body representatives
- Responsible for coordination of the design progression of multi-disciplinary design teams;
- Review design drawings, represent the design team in comment resolution meetings with Clients.
- Prepare presentation materials including PowerPoint presentations;
- Coordinate the development of contract specifications and documentation;
- Coordinate project quality control and quality assurance processes in collaboration with the Quality Manager ;
- Escalate project issues to Project Manager, collaborate on identification of mitigation measures;
- Support the Project Manager in reviews of the project schedules for activities, milestones, and critical path, ;
- Perform all other tasks that will help accomplish successful delivery of the project;
- Work with and provide support to other members of the team in sharing project management, project completion and client service responsibilities.
- Ensure project files are kept up to date using a specified document control system;
- Prepare reports, proposals and other documentation within allotted schedules and budgets, under the supervision of senior staff;
- Contribute to knowledge transfer by providing functional guidance, peer review, and feedback.

**What you’ll bring to WSP**:

- Have or are soon eligible for professional certification (P.Eng., or CET).
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in design and coordination on large complex construction projects;
- Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams of project professionals.
- Experience with major transportation infrastructure including highways, transit (LRT and subway), airports, etc.;
- Experience with P3 projects and / or other alternative project delivery models;
- Key technical skills to facilitate multidisciplinary coordination and decision making skills;
- Adaptability and flexibility including the ability to manage project deadlines;
- Demonstrated results orientation competency.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across organizations.
