You work in partnership with customers to define and execute a winning growth strategy for both Mondelēz International and the customer.
**How you will contribute**
You will:
- Develop and drive broad customer relationships across all levels with a key focus on building relationships at an appropriate level within the customer.
- Execute the strategy for the customer
- Ensure the delivery of JCBP (Joint Customer Business Plan).
- Optimize the use of resources in order to obtain more profitability in the operations

**What you need to know about this position**:
The Key Account Manager plays a critical role in helping the customer business team achieve net revenue, profit, consumption and share growth operating plans. This role will be responsible for the execution of the sales planning and budget reconciliation process - focusing on customer plan implementation, systems management, and financial reconciliation of the plan.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develops and cultivates effective business relationships with key customer decision makers across their organization to drive alignment and customer engagement.
- Working with Grocery team leaders, supports the creation and execution of the customer joint business plan and ensure alignment with the customer.
- Works with the customer to plan all promotions and specific programs across the year
- Collaborates with customer to ensure compliance and performance on agreed upon strategies/tactics.
- Manages customer contract system and deduction process and ensure that Trade Funds are managed according to operating plan budget.
- Ensures forecast accuracy, leveraging all available insights and data (syndicated data, TPM system) for Gross Revenue, consumption and trade spend.
- Collaborates with MDLZ field sales team to ensure plans are communicated and executional parameters aligned on.
- Works with Supply Chain team when required to communicate out of plan demand opportunities.
- Analyzes promotional plans to ensure continual effectiveness (leverage TPM system).
- Compliance to MDLZ policies.
- Work collaboratively with Sales Strategy, Customer Strategy, Finance, and marketing to achieve targets.
**Education / Certifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
**Job specific requirements**:
- Understanding of business processes and systems; prior customer business team experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of category and/or Mondelēz portfolio preferred.
- Superior interpersonal skills (verbal, non‐verbal).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customer
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong financial business acumen
- Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze revenue and consumption data to make business decisions
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
**Travel requirements**
- Some business travel involved.
**Work schedule**:
- Regular business hours M-F (Hybrid)
