National Sales Manager

**Overview**
The Muskoka Roastery Coffee Company is the #1 Canadian premium coffee company as measured by A.C.Nielsen. We are seeking to accelerate profitable growth by expanding our national distribution footprint, while driving growth in existing stores through innovation, marketing and insight-based selling.
This position will lead the National Sales initiatives, working in collaboration with our external Sales Partners. This position reports directly to the President and Co-Founder.
**Responsibilities**
Primary interface with our outside Sales Partners to jointly build and execute an annual Business Plan, with measurable goals and clearly articulated KPI’s.
- Gain agreement from all stakeholders to the National Sales annual plan as part of the MRCC planning calendar.
- Lead management of all aspects of the annual budget, with precise monthly tracking/reporting of expenditure vs plan.
- Lead all aspects of the MRCC trade promotion calendar, including weekly tracking and analysis of return on investment.
- Manage the key account P&L’s, with the goal of delivering profitable volume growth for MRCC.
- Track and align each account to our brand strategies on key metrics to optimize growth potential.
- Grow distribution with majors and indies through insight-based selling and defined key account growth plans.
Play an important role in the MRCC senior leadership team to contribute to the company strategic plan.
**Other Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in management or business administration.
- **Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the CPG industry.**:
- Strong leadership, presentation and communication skills, verbal and written.
- Effectively develop, build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Great negotiation/influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills.
- Clear, logical thinker.
- Travel as necessary.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- French language a differentiating asset.
