**Freeman Signature** - Seeking Foodservice Account Manager for the Alberta Region

Freeman Signature currently has a great opportunity for a position as Account Manager.
Primary Purpose: Support of Foodservice operators (existing and new) providing expert knowledge and solution based solutions specific to our client’s Foodservice products. This may include conducting product demonstrations, supporting product launches, creating promotions, and aligning financial packages that work for the account.
Responsibilities: (This list may not include all the duties assigned)
Drive market penetration of assigned operator base and maintain effective lines of communication with all regional accounts
- Presenting manufacturer's product lines to our customers to increase sales for the company.
- Build relationships with top accounts, key decision makers to discuss business activity and needs of customers.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual business reviews with our clients
- Co-ordinate all administrative functions required by Customer accounts
- Participate in customer sales meetings and trade shows as appropriate
- Identify opportunities within the market and make recommendations
- Develop new business with Regional Accounts and wholesalers while maintaining alignment with company strategies and guidelines and by aggressively pursuing assigned list of regional prospects
- Assess trends and identify potential opportunities within the industry
- Manage End-user contracts
- Completion of required administrative duties in an accurate and timely fashion
- Ensuring CRM tool is updated & maintained to standard
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Maintain high level of professionalism and ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience calling on specific customer is an asset;
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Competency in multi-tasking/problem solving/troubleshooting
- Exceptionally self-disciplined and organized
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills - Self-motivated/driven, positive/high energy, excellent written and verbal communication skills, administration skills, adaptability/flexibility, dependability/attendance, appearance/grooming.
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels, including executive and senior level management
- Personal commitment to continuous improvement.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Travel required (moderate)
University Degree; preference (but not limited to)
**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
