We are currently seeking a
**Resource Administrator** to join the growing training team. Reporting to the Learning & Development Coordinator, the Resource Administrator will work collaboratively with the Learning & Development Specialist and will connect with staff from all service areas within New Directions in order to arrange, track and improve the training we provide.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Working with Recruitment, Human Resources, and service area contacts to complete registrations for all employees in required core competency training and expanded training programs,
- Maintaining the training resources on New Directions’ intranet (i.e., SharePoint), including updating the schedule for future organizational core competency training, in collaboration with the L & D Coordinator, and populating the resource library with current materials,
- Distributing all training related materials in advance and preparing materials needed during each session, ensuring materials meet accessibility requirements,
- Preparing training rooms, as required, and assist trainers if needs arise during training,
- Acting as a contact for training related questions and, with a customer service mindset, providing clarification and/or assistance to trainers, staff, and supervisors.
- Arranging the bookings of others required at training such as alternate trainers, guest speakers and interpreters,
- Tracking all training attendance and providing summary reports to the L & D Coordinator, service area contacts, and leadership,
- Receiving feedback on training processes, suggesting alternative formats for information and data gathering, and working with the team to transition to an online learning management system,
- Working closely with other areas within New Directions to continuously improve processes with the goal of improving the overall staff experience, of which training is a significant component.
- Completion of high school (or grade 12 equivalent) and additional business administration, or similar, training from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Minimum one to two years recent experience in an administrative capacity, handling large volumes of information,
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to self-manage time, balancing work and competing priorities in order to meet strict timelines for the completion of tasks,
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills,
- Excellent customer service skills, including effective problem-solving ability and a demonstrated ability to be diplomatic in handling situations,
- Demonstrated data entry skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to continuously learn new database processes,
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Office 365 and SharePoint, as well familiarity with database systems,
- Ability to summarize and format data for clear and concise reporting,
- Ability to work within a team environment with respect, professionalism, and cultural awareness,
- Willingness to engage in work with a view toward flexibility, creativity and curiosity,
- Qualifications considered additional assets:

- Previous experience in a social service and/or non-profit setting,
- Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL).
