Tool Inventory Administrator at Powerline Plus Ltd.
**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completion of Secondary School
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment
- **Valid G Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract required; Class DZ or better is considered an asset**:
- Physically capable of meeting job requirements, including lifting up to thirty (30) pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, and safely climbing a ladder
- Familiarity with inventory management software or systems for organizing and tracking tool and equipment status
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Tool Room Administrator role includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Inventory, store, and distribute tools and equipment, ensuring proper tracking and categorization using digital tools and inventory management software.
- Perform routine maintenance on small tools and equipment, ensuring they meet required specifications and updating status in the company’s electronic tracking systems.
- Troubleshoot and address performance issues with tools and equipment, leveraging software tools for diagnostics and recordkeeping.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards, recording results in digital service logs.
- Complete and maintain associated service paperwork and documentation, ensuring all records are accurately updated and stored in electronic filing systems.
- Conduct regular data entry to track tool usage, inventory levels, and maintenance schedules in inventory management systems and spreadsheets.
- Organize and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring tools and maintenance records are easy to access and regularly updated.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure safe handling and usage of tools and equipment, documenting safety inspections and compliance in electronic records.

- Computer literate, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to navigate inventory management software for effective tracking, reporting, and documentation
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage both digital and physical filing systems efficiently
- Punctual and able to manage time effectively, ensuring deadlines for tool inspections, maintenance, and inventory updates are met
- Detail-oriented, ensuring accurate data entry and the proper maintenance of service and inventory records in digital formats.
- Strong team player, with the ability to collaborate effectively and communicate digitally with colleagues and supervisors
- Strong prioritization skills, able to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate digital and physical inventories
