Telecon is looking for an energetic and career minded individual to take on the position of Locates Project Administrator within our growing team. This full-time opportunity includes health benefits, company match RRSP plus opportunity for growth
As a Locates Project Administrator you will be responsible to sketch, submit and track locate progress. You will also be responsible for city permit submissions and tracking as well as creating job folders and preparing outgoing notifications.
**Responsibilities**:
- Sketch, Submit and track locates;
- Track progress and timelines of projects issued for construction;
- Provide customer updates as required;
- Review completions when returned from the field to ensure alignment will all business units completion;
- Work closely with Field Supervisor and crews in field to ensure alignment between office staff and field staff;
- Ensure proper implementation of company’s procedures with regards to health & safety, and quality;
- Other tasks as needed to achieve successful project;
- Lead, communicate and live the company’s vision and culture;
- Any and all other duties as assigned in order to meet Company objectives.
**Requirements**:
- 1 to 3 years of Project Administrator experience, preferably in a Construction industry;
- Experience with project tracking, purchase orders and invoicing;
- Computer literacy in Windows, Microsoft Office and Outlook;
- Intermediate level Excel skills required;
- Proven time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet objectives;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to work and focus on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with an upbeat attitude;
- Dynamic, good communication skills and able to maintain excellent relations with peers, customers and internal resources;
- Organized, self-disciplined, reliable and capable of evaluating the workload and obtaining cooperation from other departments;
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
