**Overview**:
Dags & Willow is an iconic fine cheese and gourmet food store located in an historic building in downtown Collingwood. In addition to offering the widest selection of Artisanal Cheeses in the area, we also wholesale cheese and gourmet products to other cheese stores across the province.

As the Wholesale Business Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting and growing our wholesale business operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

Please note that during slower periods the Wholesale Business Coordinator will be expected to perform front of house retail tasks such as serving customers, re-stocking, housekeeping and cash.

The right person for this role is someone who can perform all of the functions required - which would start with shipping, receiving, order filling and inventory taking, but with training and development expand to include order entry, customer communications, invoicing etc etc... eventually coordinating the entire operation of the wholesale business.

**Initial Responsibilities**:

- Planning the work required each week in advance based on customer orders and supplier shipments
- Receiving and verifying shipments from suppliers. Noting and reporting discrepancies.
- Putting shipments into storage
- Accurately filling customer orders on a timely basis, and preparing shipments for transport
- Finalizing and sending invoices
- Maintaining an accurate inventory of products in storage
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Assisting with retail operations when possible

**Additional Future Responsibilities**:

- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and assisting them with product selection
- Receiving and entering orders
- Preparing and sending supplier orders based on customer demands
- Tracking order progress
- Entering supplier and customer invoices into our accounting system
- Training and mentoring new staff

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of cheese and gourmet food products a big plus, but not required
- Retail experience also a big plus but not required.
