$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 Annual Salary

Overview:

The Business Solutions Strategist will enhance technology awareness, facilitate adoption, and ensure effective utilization while continuously refining our operational technologies and methodologies. This role is essential in supporting the daily operational needs of our workforce and the ongoing requirements of leadership to effectively oversee and enhance organizational performance.

This position is aligned with our Finance/Accounting Division, with a focus on CMIC.

Key Responsibilities:

General Duties:

  1. Establish and nurture relationships with organizational leaders (e.g., Division Managers, Regional Managers, functional management, change agents, etc.)
  2. Foster connections across the organization to gain insights into business challenges and stay informed about innovations occurring at the operational level
  3. Participate in regional and divisional meetings (e.g., PM/PE Meetings, Division Operations Meetings, etc.)
  4. Guide the development and execution of solutions to address business challenges
  5. Advocate for awareness and adoption of essential tools, technologies, and best practices
  6. Stay updated on relevant technology and industry trends by attending conferences and workshops
  7. Engage in Business Technology Projects as a subject matter expert, tester, and/or trainer
  8. Participate in technology evaluations and trials
  9. Lead and contribute to the research, design, development, testing, delivery, and training of new and modified business processes, reports, and tools
  10. Oversee Change Requests
  11. Participate in patch testing, implementation, training, and documentation
  12. Collaborate with division leaders and project teams to address issues and understand local innovations
  13. Support other Regional Solutions Managers as needed
  14. Regular travel is required (local and interstate)
  15. Other duties as assigned

Training Responsibilities:

  1. Create training plans and materials for business technologies and processes
  2. Deliver training to employees on existing and newly implemented technologies
  3. Coordinate training sessions for employees and teams as necessary
  4. Facilitate training for external partners as required for critical technologies and processes
  5. Maintain a network of local subject matter experts in your region for essential technologies and business processes
  6. Ensure training programs are current and engaging

Support Responsibilities:

  1. Process and manage service tickets as applicable
  2. Address employee inquiries or facilitate resolutions regarding tools and processes
  3. Collaborate with other Business Technology members, subject matter experts, and/or third-party vendors to resolve employee questions/issues
  4. Create and maintain support materials, including self-help knowledge articles
  5. Develop and maintain documentation for business processes and configurations
  6. Manage established 'Problems' (coordinate diagnosis, develop resolution plans, and ensure all parties are involved to resolve the established 'Problem')

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of experience in a construction-related field
  2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, along with a professional telephone demeanor
  3. Familiarity with construction technologies is preferred (e.g., CMiC or other ERP systems, Bluebeam, Electronic Plan Tables, BIM360, Sharefile, SAGE, Salesforce, VDC/BIM, SQL)
  4. Willingness to travel to divisions and job sites as necessary
  5. Proficient in office equipment and general office procedures
  6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate work efforts
  7. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and other computer applications
