Reporting directly to the CEO, the **Sales and Business Development Manager** will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic initiatives and growth plans. This role involves responsibilities in 5 key areas, to support the company’s sales targets.
- **Strategic Planning**: Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategic plans for growth and market expansion. This includes identifying priority markets for Phycus’ products and working with Manufacturing Leads to ensure alignment between production capacity with sales volumes.
- **Sales**: Lead the company’s sales efforts by Identify and prioritizing prospective customers. Establish new sales channels and distribution strategies. Act as major point of contact to customers in assigned territory in all commercial matters.
- **Brand Messaging**: Oversee the execution of compelling brand messaging and marketing materials that reflects Phycus’ commitment to sustainability and product efficacy, resonating with target audiences.
- **Financial Management**: Develop and manage budgets for strategic initiatives and marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Meet sales objectives and focus on customer retention as well as improving overall customer satisfaction
- Develop tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and work with partners to close deals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and other stakeholders
- Attend conferences, meetings, and other events to build relationships (travel required)
- Utilize CRM and SharePoint software tools effectively. Complete sales and revenue-related reporting
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in market research and data analysis
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively to drive business growth
- Passion for sustainability, community engagement, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently and collaborate remotely with other team members

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in business development, sales, and/or marketing
- Degree in a technical field such as science, engineering, or biology is highly preferred
- Proven success in developing and implementing sales or brand strategies with measurable outcomes.
- Experience in building proposals that monetize products or services.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $70,000.00-$250,000.00 per year
