**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director, Graduate Services and Registrar the Graduate Services Coordinator is responsible for assessing, overseeing and implementing processes and reports for registrarial, graduation, and the PHD Dissertation process; administers in program, promotion and continuation status; Administers the Domestic and Ontario Exchange Program; audit review; and develops and maintains registrarial training and procedures.

In addition, the incumbent is responsible for training and development coordination, as well as policy and procedure development; Process improvement and documentation; Process training; Service enhancement; and IT process development and implementation. The incumbent supports the Director during the admissions cycle by processing the necessary reports.

The incumbent coordinates processes with the Graduate Systems Support Officers to ensure that the needs of FGPA and other departments (business office, academic departments, and finance office) are being met.

**Qualifications**:
**The incumbent must possess the following qualifications**:

- Knowledge of Banner, DARS and UGAFA and other systems as required.
- Knowledge of interfaces between Banner, DARS and UGAFA and other systems as required.
- Strong computer skills for Banner, DARS, UGAFA, excel, access, word etc.
- Solid knowledge of university rules, regulations and policies.

**Education and Experience**:
**The above is normally acquired through the completion of**:

- Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent.
- Seven years of experience in a records, customer service environment, preferably within an academic environment
