**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The Corporation of the City of Orillia has an opening for a temporary employee for the contract position of Administrative Support in the Environment and Infrastructure Services Department for approximately 20 months.
**DUTIES**
- Responsible for front counter reception duties including communications with the public, contractors and City staff. Respond to public complaints and inquiries by phone or in person.
- Purchase office supplies as required, process purchase orders, complete MasterCard input for employees, process progress payments for annual contracts, prepare charge orders and manage inventory records.
- Input fuel usage and expense for all Roads and Operations, By-law, Community Services, and the Fire Department.
- Prepare and set-up memos, letters, notice of project.
- Input job-costed employee timesheets using MS Great Plains Dynamics and run various reports for the annual road program and winter control.
- Maintain fleet information in Great Plains, including adding and removing assets
- Order locates for Environment and Infrastructure Services requirements.
- Process various operations related permits (ie; Road Occupancy, Entrance Permits).
- Website Maintenance.
- Rotate mail duties with other administration staff to distribute mail throughout the City.
- Provide back up support for administrative team where necessary.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Two year Community College diploma in accounting or business administration.
- Minimum one and a half years of administrative experience.
- Experience in revenue collection, cash deposits, invoicing and purchase requisitions.
- Knowledge of reading plans, hydrant locations, locates cards on water sewer, hydrants and valves an asset.
- Excellent organizational, communication, judgment and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of the TOMRMS filing system and SIRE Software.
- Must possess a valid Ontario class G driver’s licence with access to a reliable vehicle.
- An acceptable Criminal Record Check is required for this position at the incumbent’s expense prior to the commencement date.
