Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS) is a market leader in the development and provision of trading and financial software environments for specialist Distribution, Wholesale, Merchant and Retail industry sectors, addressing single
- or multi-branch operations, as well as catering for organisations with 'point-of-sale' showrooms and warehouse.

This KCS Canadian Sales team member will be part of the overall North American sales team, the position will work across the K8 & K8 Trader product lines.

**Role Summary**

The Canadian Sales Executive and Channel Partner Manager will work closely with, and support the Business Unit Director in growing the Business Partner network throughout Canada. A focus will be to increasing revenue share from the existing BP network, identify and recruit new Business Partners. Build a BP pipeline and introduce systems to manage the reporting structure to the corporate head office.

The Channel Manager will establish strategies and methods to efficiently pitch and sell products to both BP & customer, as well as build and maintain long-term relationship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establishing viable opportunities
- Work with the sales team to focus on their efforts on the interested companies.
- Contacting prospective customers.
- Researching a company beforehand for alignment to KCS requirments
- Prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing and following up on leads and appointment setting for sales team
- Collaboratively work with the sales, marketing team and leadership to develop lead generation strategies to generate lead opportunities with prospective customers
- Crafting and implementing channel sales strategies to meet monthly sales quota targets
- Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Setting up new BPs and overseeing the on-boarding process.
- Negotiating contracts and growth plans with current and prospective business partners
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners' expectations.
- Proactively assesses, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis.***

**Key Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Experience in Retail and / or ERP solutions would be essential
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with CRM software
- Have a general comprehensive knowledge of sales processes and goals
- Analysis of multiple points of data and summarize their findings for the sales team.

Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written and be skilled in “Selling via Phone” successfully

**Special Conditions**

The company reserve the right to require you to work in accordance with our Out of Hours (OOH)/On-call rota at such time your manager feels your experience is suitable to do so. Further details will be provided in due course.

This role may require some travel.
