Operations Coordinator

Responsible for organizing and coordinating all job-related activities between the field staff, dispatch, operations, laboratory, and customers.
**Responsibilities**
**Primary Duties**:
- Responsible for communicating with the Senior Operations Coordinator and Operations Manager to ensure work requirements are met with adequately qualified employees.
- Responsible for relaying the customer’s requests to the field and laboratory employees.
- Ensure that necessary updates and final communications are distributed in accordance with customer requirements and AmSpec policy.
- Responsible for the preparation and distribution of all reports including final wires and invoices.
- Ensures the Senior Operations Coordinator and Operations Manager is informed of any problems that could potentially affect customers.
- Assists the Senior Operations Coordinator and Operations Manager with ensuring the adherence of company policy by the field staff.
**Finance**:
- Perform accounts payable tasks and invoice management.
- Create purchase requisitions, follow-up on POs and process invoices.
- Prepare invoices for completed contracts.
**Administrative**:
- Work with various departments such as AP, Purchasing and operations.
- Follow-up on and update various service contracts.
- Order supplies
- Produce and verify inventory reports for audit purposes.
**Skills/Qualifications**:
- 5+ year’s experience in the Agriculture/Grain industry preferred.
- Proven secretarial skills in administration, office management and in accounting.
- Excellent organizational and strong interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in setting priorities and handling multiple requests.
- Efficient teamwork with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to take initiatives.
- Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written.
**Working Conditions**
Hybrid Home/Office Environment & field attendance possible (for information/learning purposes)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time both during and outside normal business hours.
- Ability to multi-task and work under high levels of stress.
