**Operations Coordinator - Roundhouse Café**

The Roundhouse Program, managed by L’Itinéraire, is unique in Montreal. It allows Indigenous people to participate in a pre-employment program by being accompanied during work shifts at the Roundhouse Café as well as in their psychosocial processes. The Café also answers the needs of users of Cabot Square in terms of safety, food support and harm reduction.

**Working conditions**:

- 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday
- Salary: $23.16/hour
- Work location: Cabot Square and L’Itinéraire office
- Continuous training

**Your role**:
Under the supervision of the project manager and in collaboration with team members, you will be responsible for coordinating the operations of the Roundhouse Café by performing the following tasks:

- Coordinate food operations: administrative management, cash and petty cash management, inventory and order management, menu and recipe updates, scheduling work hours, managing catering orders, etc.;
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and sponsors of the Roundhouse Café;
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, hygiene and sanitation, and periodic equipment maintenance;
- Collaborate with L’Itinéraire’s communications team to promote the Roundhouse Café on our digital platforms;
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure compliance with established procedures and regulations;
- All other related tasks.

**Your skills and strengths**:

- Ability to juggle multiple tasks, take initiative, and be solution-oriented;
- Possess 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- Have training in cooking and as a barista;
- Good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google tools (Drive);
- Holding a food establishment manager or MAPAQ food handler training (an asset);
- Bilingualism in French and English, as our participants are predominantly unilingual English speakers (an asset);
- Experience working in the community sector (an asset).
