Office Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Manager. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of our office. This is a key role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.
**Duties**:
Manage and process bi-weekly direct deposit payroll for 125 employees(hourly, salaried, management and bonuses)
Determine and pay out all W.S.I.B, PST, GST, EHT remittances
Process and submit payroll taxes
Process month end accruals for payroll and Statutory holiday calculations
Daily Bank Reconciliation
Manage all aspects of employee benefits and was involved in negotiating a new carrier
Manage 7 full time employees and 3 part time
Assist controller with month end closing
Assist with T4 preparation including car allowance calculations
Complete all records of employment
Assist controller with all special projects as required
Supervise in house leasing to ensure payments are received as well as doing the pre authorized payments transfers
Advise on all matters of Human Resources including but not limited to proper procedures
Co wrote ADP Manual on all functions of the ADP System for all departments
Fill in when staff is on holidays so work is not sitting
Make adjusting entries
Ensure receivables are current and ensure clerk is well trained
Purchase and control all supplies for the dealership
Special projects requested by the owner
Handle all Labour Board issues
Handle all correspondence for Workers Compensation Claims
Advise other _manager_s on problems in their departments
JHS Coordinator for Management
Handle wire transfers for US purchases
Negotiated new contract for wireless carrier to ensure our needs ae being met at a reasonable price
