**Job Description**:
The Milner Group, a locally owned Nanaimo company, is seeking a motivated individual needed for the role of a fulltime Accounting and Administration. The successful individual must be accurate, have strong attention to detail, communicate well, and have good organizational skills. In addition, this individual should have an analytical mind, and always be looking for improvements and efficiencies. Please note this is a very fast-paced environment.
**Salary**: $50k - $65k/year - based on experience
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Accounting**:

- Full cycle accounts receivable
- Accounts receivable collections
- Various account reconciliations
- Internal cash reconciliations
- Supporting internal job costing
- Credit card expense posting and reconciliation

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Administration**:

- Answer phones, utilizing multiple phone line system
- Order entry and payment entry for calls taken for all companies
- Entry, scheduling and tracking all construction rentals
- Preparing envelopes for items that need mailing
- Monitor supply levels and order office supplies for office, scale house and shop supplies once per week
- Supporting dispatch as required

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- 1-3 years’ experience in a customer service role, required
- 1-3 years’ experience accounting related, preferred
