- As the Digital Content Specialist, you will help all positions within the Digital Services Unit. You will be responsible for administrative duties and tasks and will also provide support on projects as needed. This may include assisting on writing, filming and/or editing videos, designing graphics or other visual elements. Primary duties include:

- Design content as needed. This could include graphics for both internal and external use, such as pamphlets, brochures, logos, etc.
- Assist the unit with photography by organizing shoots, controlling sets and capturing images both in studio and on location.
- Provide administrative support to the Digital Services Unit such as purchasing new equipment, printing, archiving footage and photos.
- Assist with video production which may include transcribing interviews, booking locations and other pre-production tasks.
- Assist with video production shoots on set and finding, creating and editing elements for post-production.
- Help with post-production/editing of the images captured.

**Qualifications**
- A 2 year diploma in multimedia and/or design or a related field and a minimum of 3 years related experience in photography, video production (shooting, writing and editing) or graphic design.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud is required.
- Experience in web design working with Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets (SASS) and JavaScript is considered an asset.
- Experience using content management systems is also an asset.
- Success in this position requires efficiency and thoroughness, impact and influence, planning and prioritizing and service orientation. An effective communicator with a focus on results and the ability to build strong relationships.

**Pre-employment Requirements**

- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.
