Snyder Construction is hiring an Administrative Assistant to join their team

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Assisting in the preparation of Tenders and Prequalifications.
- Facilitate security clearances for employees and sub-trades/bonding/insurance.
- Welcoming all office visitors and interacting with them.
- Staying up-to date with office orders/activities.
- Scheduling inspections.
- Assist Project Manager’s with Manuals.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be extremely organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to learn quickly and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to exercise initiative and good judgement.
- Proactive attitude with proven ability to problem solve.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous administrative experience is strongly recommended.

**One year contract with strong possibility of renewal/will depend upon performance.**

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Whitby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
