**Job Function**:
To provide assistance to the Contracts Manager in coordinating and administering the contract tendering process for all municipal and subdivision projects.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Assist with the preparation of tenders, cost estimates and contract documents.

2. Review and process submitted payment certificates to ensure accuracy as compared to inspection reports.

3. Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of contract documents.

4. Write, review and format correspondence packages to ensure clear, accurate and timely communication between client and contractor.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
1. Three to five (3-5) years of contract administration experience. Experience in the land development and construction industry an asset.

2. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Word and Excel).

3. Working knowledge of AutoCAD would be an asset.

4. Possess strong communication skills along with excellent interpersonal abilities, and a willingness to work in a team atmosphere.

5. Ability to work with mínimal supervision on multiple projects at once, as required.

6. Ability to read construction drawings.

7. Knowledge of standard construction terminology.

8. Strong attention to detail.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Contracts Admin: 3 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)
- Land Development: 3 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Whitby, ON (required)
