Administrative Assistant/ Assistant to The Director

The Administrative Assistant/ Assistant to the Director will assume a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support in various day-to-day operations, offering direct assistance to the director while collaborating seamlessly with other team members. - **What you will do**:
- Receive and forward telephone or electronic inquiries
- Sort, process and verify documentation
- Send and receive messages
- Provide general information to clients and the public
- Being the first point of contact for walk-in clients and customers
- Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
- Obtaining and processing information required to provide services in a timely manner
- Perform other duties, such as filing, sorting and distributing mail, photocopying, faxing
- Accounts Payable - entering invoices into QuickBooks
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Director
- Conduct research and compile data for various projects
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Manage and respond to customer experience correspondence and customer service inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned
- **Qualifications**:
- Completion of high school and some secondary education
- 3-5 years of office or admin experience
- Fluency in English, including speaking, reading and writing
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, presentation software, and Internet browsers
- Excellent data entry speeds and accuracy
- Working knowledge of accounting software and database software
- Excellent administration and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Jewish life and traditions is considered an asset
This position is 30-35 hours/ week, with opportunity for growth. Benefit program available after 90 days of employment. Paid holiday days and vacation.
**Salary**: $36,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
