The Infinity Women Secretariat (IWS) is a non-profit organization that connects Red River Métis women, girls, 2sLGBTQ+ individuals throughout the Province of Manitoba and beyond, with a mandate to promote, empower, and enhance their well-being. Incorporated on April 23, 2013, IWS has already become well known in our Red River Metis communities, in our Red River Métis Government, and all throughout the Homeland. IWS remains a proud affiliate of the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF), the National Government of the Red River Métis.

The IWS seeks to fill **one full-time **Administrative Coordinator** position located at 150 Henry Ave in **Winnipeg, MB**. Reporting to the IWS Spokeswoman, the Administrative Coordinator will assist in overseeing, monitoring and coordinating the day-to-day administrative operations of the IWS, and will assist the Spokeswoman with scheduling meetings and travel arrangements.

**_Job Duties/Competencies:_**
- Provide administrative support to the team and Spokeswoman;
- Maintain meeting schedules and calendars for the Spokeswoman;
- Photocopy and organize documents for distribution, mailing, filing, and faxing;
- Prepare orders for office supplies and equipment as required;
- Draft, type and proofread correspondence, statements, forms and other documents;
- Complete travel requisitions and cheque requisitions as requested;
- Draft briefing material as directed;
- Schedule meetings and book facilities;
- Prepare and maintain information kits for meetings;
- Take, transcribe, and edit meeting minutes.

**_Skills and Qualifications:_**
- Relevant education in the field of Administrative Assistant or related field(s);
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant or high-level Administrative Assistant position, with experience working with senior leadership and tracking schedules and appointments;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook;
- Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information;
- Ability to work with little to no supervision;
- Experience with committees and/or boards, or having political acumen is an asset;
- Knowledge of Red River Métis culture, IWS & MMF programs and services is an asset; and,
- Ability to travel, valid Manitoba Driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
