**Overview**:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented **HR & Operations Administrator** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth office operations, managing HR-related functions, supporting employee engagement, and assisting with company compliance and certifications. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is proactive, and enjoys contributing to multiple facets of the organization.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in HR, Operations, or Office Administration.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and support employees effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint (preferred).
- Ability to work on-site a significant portion of the week.
- Interest in contributing to a positive company culture and driving engagement.

**Human Resources**
- **Benefits Administration**: Manage monthly reconciliations, payments, and updates on the Manulife platform. Handle employee benefit setup, adjustments, and communication of premium changes in coordination with our broker, Hub International.
- **Policies & Compliance**: Maintain the employee handbook, oversee training programs, and manage the P&C SharePoint site. Promote company culture and initiatives such as “Slaying the Dragon.”
- **Legal HR Support**: Assist with employment contracts, compliance matters, and other HR-related legal tasks.
- **Employee Support**: Respond to employee requests, including bank letters or other documentation needs.
**Operations**
- **Office Management**: Manage office supplies, coordinate Amazon purchases, and oversee the functionality of office spaces.
- **Building Coordination**: Serve as the primary contact for property management and maintain the building portal.
- **Mail and Recognition**: Send birthday cards to employees’ children and coordinate other small personal touches to foster a positive work environment.
**Event Management**
- Plan and execute staff events to promote employee engagement and team-building.
**Administrative Support**
- **Certifications & Compliance**: Ensure the company maintains its certifications and meets compliance standards.
- **Proposal Support**: Assist the Proposals department with grids, CV preparation, and related documentation in an overflow capacity.
- **Invoicing Coordination**: Work with the Finance team to ensure accurate invoicing justification on bids.
