**Administrative Coordinator, Jays Care Programs**
Administrative Coordinators on the Jays Care Programs team are tasked with providing administrative support on a wide range of projects that are all designed to help level the playing field. Our work enables us to work with and support communities facing a wide range of barriers including, but not limited to: poverty, food insecurity, inaccessibility, ableism, racism, sexism, and homophobia. Every project we devote time, funding and energy to has been well-researched, informed by our wide range of advisors, and is designed specifically to break down barriers and fortify strengths for children and youth. Jays Care is looking for a **highly organized, detail-oriented, stellar administrator** who will focus their energy primarily on the following three initiatives:
- **Jays Care Community Celebration**: booking flights, booking accommodations, organizing equipment, and managing car rentals
- ** All-Star Series Events**: booking busing, managing registration, liaising with parents/educators, and completing essential purchase orders
In addition, the Administrative Coordinator can expect to be assigned to support administrative needs on a wide range of projects including, but not limited to:
- Challenger Baseball
- Community Partners
- Wrap-around support initiatives
- RBI Summer Edition
**Type of role**: 1 year contract
**Reporting to**: Project Manager
**Jays Care Administrative Coordinators are highly skilled at**:

- Actively scheduling opportunities for debriefing, discussion and feedback

- Working with Excel and other Microsoft tools
- Booking flights and accommodations with great attending to details
- Reviewing and revising registration forms and key assessment forms
- Ensuring that all documents and databases are spell-checked and reviewed for inconsistencies

- Communicating clearly (both in writing and orally)
- Solving problems with optimism and creativity
- Responding to challenges and issues with a sense of calm and accountability

**DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Social Work, Kinesiology, Equity Studies, or related field i.e. human services, health or education
- Exceptional attention to detail
- 1+ years working in an administrative role
- Experience booking group travel an asset
- Good demonstration of problem-solving skills and ability to work in a group
- Significant competence in PowerPoint, Excel and different online communication platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
- Willingness to work outside of regular 9-5 schedule
- Fluency in French is an asset
