**Business Development Representative, Part-Time Casual**

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their Account Executive partners. This role executes the outbound campaigns of their sales division by qualifying active buying interest and identifying critical decision makers to successfully position the Compugen value proposition. Our objective is to drive new top of funnel in recurring revenue subscription services. This role is formed in collaboration with an OEM partner with a focus on Compugen value-based services powered by our partner technology.
BDRs who establish high performance and are strong representations of the Compugen Core Values will have potential for new challenges and career advancement.
**How you’ll make a huge impact here - and in your career**:

- Make 50+ outbound contacts each day
- Achieving and exceeding metrics (activity, appointments, qualified leads, etc.) - Crush your quota
- Identify & engage with Mid-Market accounts to acquire & develop new business
- Work closely and strategically with the vendor partner team while engaging in the same efforts including lead generation, solution offering, closing and nurturing.
- Demonstrate ability to build strong professional relationships with key IT & business executives.
- Leveraging sales tools such as LinkedIn Navigator to network with potential customers
- Gain business knowledge through researching how different businesses operate, leadership structures, what their pain points are and challenges they face everyday
- Effective questioning, probing and listening that leads to a successful sales cycle

**Skills and qualifications, you’ll bring**:

- Sales experience with a proven track record of overachievement of targets
- Resourceful and curious individual with a sharp intellect and the ability to rapidly absorb new concepts
- Resilience, perseverance, and an ability to overcome objections
- Demonstrate empathy for customers struggles
- A knack for learning fast and solving problems
- Exceptional phone, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Obsessively organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Familiarity with Information Technology concepts and ability to learn quickly
- Preference to those with SaaS sales experience
- Bonus points for experience using Outreach, CRM, and IT sales experience.
