**Your opportunity**:
The CRANIA NeuroModulation Institute (CNMI) was launched on November 1, 2020 to unite disparate neuromodulation education streams and disciplines and to cultivate research, education, and scholarly interest in the field of Neuromodulation. The CNMI’s mission is to engineer the next generation of brain scientists by providing students an opportunity to develop the strong background necessary to be competitive in this expanding field. This is achieved by educating students to develop, validate, test and commercialize advanced neuromodulation technologies, and enabling them to participate in neuromodulation-based research activities in fully-affiliated health care institutions throughout Toronto.

The Program Coordinator is essential to success of the CNMI. In this vital role, as the incumbent you will provide outstanding student services and program support by drawing upon your strong client-service orientation skills. As the Program Coordinator, you will regularly interact with inter-faculty academic and hospital administrators while advancing the priorities of the CNMI. Utilizing your excellent written and interpersonal communication skills you will advise student trainees, and engage stakeholders to build a sustainable culture and community of innovation.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries. Providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines
- Advising students on program and/or course requirements by probing and providing a range of options and possible consequences
- Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate while analyzing service delivery and/or internal processes and recommending improvements
- Scheduling committee meetings; coordinating meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and follow-up items
- Determining logístical details and activities for events and/or programming; including but not limited to coordinate space and resource requirements, ordering supplies, making purchases and arranging catering
- Creating and editing documents and content for brochures, newsletters, websites and/or handbooks

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Advanced College Diploma (3 years) in Basic Science or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years direct experience in student service, including student administrative support and direct student advising
- Two years of experience coordinating programs and advising students on program requirements
- Demonstrated experience coordinating events and workshops
- Experience drafting and editing communications and promotional materials and updating websites
- Experience managing calendars on behalf of senior leadership and supporting committees
- Demonstrated experience working with high volume of inquires while managing multiple and competing deadlines
- Experience handling confidential information
- Previous experience managing and updating data
- Experience with HRIS and FIS, including monitoring accounts
- Experience with ROSI or a similar student information system
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, content management systems and various social media platforms
- Must be an effective problem solver and have exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Must have initiative and the ability to effectively deal with a variety of tasks and strict deadlines
- Must have strong client-service orientation skills
- Ability to frequently adjust priorities
