University Health Network (UHN) is a research hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto and a member of the Toronto Academic Health Science Network. The Social Medicine Program is seeking a Program Coordinator to support high quality project development, implementation and evaluation by assisting with ongoing project coordination and evaluation as well as communication and dissemination activities.

**Job Tasks**

Meeting Coordination: Organize and support executive and project-specific meetings, including logistics and minutes, as well as follow-up on completion of action items with team members.

Information Management: Maintain updated records on the status and activities of Social Medicine projects, partners, staff, and volunteers. This includes updating records and associated materials, updating descriptions of projects and collaborations.

Project Management / Coordination: Assisting in the ideation and execution of Social Medicine projects, including: developing work-back schedules, project protocols, research ethics submissions (as required), promoting timely completion of tasks by project team members

Program & Project Reporting: Assist in the completion, review and submission of report narratives and other reports as are required by donors and project partners.

Research Assistance: Availability to assist with research assistant tasks (transcription, preparing interview guides, conducting interviews/surveys, coding and analyzing, preparing reports)

Dissemination: Assisting in the planning, preparation, review, and production of dissemination materials (e.g., manuscripts, oral and multimedia presentations, web-based elements). This may include translation of content into plain-language for diverse audiences.

Finance & Fundraising: Coordinate the preparation and submission of program and research funding proposals and reports including: creating work-back schedules, promoting timely completion of tasks by team members, tracking financial elements.

Direct to the Program Manager, Social Medicine and Population Health Program, University Health Network

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manages multiple competing priorities, and able to rapidly shift focus in response to changing priorities
- Lead discussion on project progress and present to the leadership team on key milestones
- Implement best practices and obtain local client/patient, clinical, community, organizational and system perspectives
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet targeted and measurable outcomes
- Lead all aspects of the project life cycle, working closely with the Program Manager and key stakeholders to:

- Advance health equity in project delivery
- Identify key stakeholders
- Develop project metrics, surveys and data solutions
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and specified timeline, and refine approaches as needed
- Prepare reports and obtain stakeholder and project team feedback
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and leverage multiple communication mechanisms and styles to effectively manage relationships with key stak
