Human Resources Data Analyst

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Human Resources Data Analyst provides analytical support, reporting and research for human resource programs as well as confidential and timely administration of employee data and the Corporation's benefits programs and plans in accordance with the plan requirements, policies and procedures, union agreements and legislative/regulatory requirements.
Position Details- Non-union. This position is temporary full time for up to 18 months.
Key Accountabilities- Provide timely and accurate administration of employee employment and benefit information in accordance with the plan requirements, policies and procedures, union agreements and legislative/regulatory requirements.- Input data into human resource information systems (HRIS), maintain employee files and provide timely and accurate notifications to the Payroll department, holding Human Resources authority for authorizing HRIS system entries.- Provide guidance and assistance to employees on the policies and procedures of the Corporation's benefit programs and plans, including benefit eligibility and administration of the plans.- Act as a functional lead, working with the technical team to address system questions, issues, developments and changes brought forward by users.- Lead and coordinate on-going maintenance and audit of HRIS data as it relates to departmental processes, ensuring data integrity and timely customer service.- Provide expertise, guidance and analytical support in the processing and administration of reports.- Lead and coordinate data audits and any resulting system and process changes.- Provide functional input and testing for on-going systems upgrades and enhancements.- Process data integrity requests, working with users and the technical team to resolve issues.- Develop and prepare ad-hoc queries and data reporting.- Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Social Sciences.- Three (3) years of experience working with data administration and analysis (preferably in human resource information systems) and a working knowledge of human resources programs.- A human resources certification would be an asset.- Advanced Excel experience would be an asset.- Experience using the Workday HRMS would be an asset.- Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.- Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.
A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
Additional Information- Travel away from bid headquarters may be required on occasion.
