**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDS, and other Windows Server services/roles.
- Develop and maintain maintenance programs (including patching) and initiatives for hundreds of servers where automation is key.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Server (OS), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDS, and other common roles.
- Stay up to date on Microsoft best practices for new deployments and ongoing improvement tasks.
- Work with our security team to implement and enhance protection measures on our Windows Server infrastructure.
- Create and maintain documentation related to server configurations, processes, procedures, and troubleshooting. Including, but not limited to, knowledgebase articles, visual diagrams, implementation/migration plans, and other related documentation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other technical team members.
- Diagnose and resolve server-related issues promptly.
- Investigate performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and service disruptions.

Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures.**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in managing Windows Servers (2008/2012/2016) in an on-premises environment.
- 5 or more years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, RDS, and Powershell scripting.
- Capable of managing various aspects of Windows Server environments.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for all of the above technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create and maintain clear and concise documentation.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Education**:

- Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
An Equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

This position will ideally be on site at our Whitby, ON location with some remote flexibility
