Office Administrator

P.R.Y.D.E. Learning Centres is a non-profit, community-based child care organization. We offer programs ranging from Infant to School age at various locations across the Durham Region.
**Position: Administrative Assistant/Accounting**
**Location: Head Office - Whitby, ON**
**Status: Permanent Part-Time (30 Hours/wk)**
**Hourly Rate: $27/hour**
**Administrative/Financial Duties**
- Reconcile monthly visa statements
- Process accounts payable
- Process program registrations and changes
- Perform general administrative duties which include but are not limited to:
- Reception
- Filing
- Office supply ordering and inventory
**Customer Service**
- Act as the first point of contact for P.R.Y.D.E. Learning Centres
- Communicate in a professional manner at all times
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- **Must have a minimum of 2 years working experience with Quickbooks**
- **Strong working experience in Microsoft Excel and Word**
- **Strong working experience with data management software**
- Diploma/Certificate in Business and/or Accounting is an asset
- Three - Five Years administrative experience
- Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Flexible and co-operative working within a team
- Knowledgeable in general accounting
- Social media management experience would be considered an asset
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
