Grid Link has a full-time vacancy for a Business Development Manager. Grid Link is a local Utility Contractor, operating in Thunder Bay since the year 2000. Business Development Manager duties include:

- Develop and maintain business relationships with existing customers that will generate future project opportunities and sales
- Develop and implement plans for targeted new customers to increase revenue growth, customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty
- Provide research for project opportunities and sales
- Identify, qualify, and maintain a sales pipeline of customer opportunities that is reviewed regularly
- Develop relationship with project managers, site managers and sub trades
- Perform customer meetings and presentations articulating the value of the services provided by the company
- Customer interfacing to resolve issues quickly and provide ongoing dialogue and clear communication
- Follow up with customers post-sales to obtain feedback, answer questions and provide support
- Provide support to the President for sales, technical advice, support, and service to Customers
- Provide support to the controller for financial management
- Assist with quoting projects, writing specifications, and customer proposals
- Stay well informed on industry changes, attend trade shows and customer events, and align with industry partners to gather market intelligence
- Identify and recognize competitors in the industry
- Become proficient in utilizing Client Relation Management Software and log all client interactions
