The specialist will guide the Learning & People Development Coordinator and work collaboratively with various team members in the People, Culture and Learning Branch supporting leaders and employees and overall organizational effectiveness, in alignment with CIHI’s strategic goals and values.Deliver on learning, performance and engagement strategies to support and enable employee growth and organizational effectiveness.Design, deliver and facilitate (as necessary) training programs, both virtual and in-person, that enhance employee and leadership skills, capabilities, and career development, including active collaboration with facilitators and instructional designers from external training vendors/service providers/academic institutions.Implement performance management frameworks, resources and tools that drive development, accountability, feedback, and continuous improvement.Facilitate the delivery of employee engagement strategies and programs to foster a high-performance, engaged, positive and inclusive workplace culture (e.g. employee communications, employee recognition month, team building/leadership retreats, psychometric workplace assessments, mentorship, and various internal knowledge-sharing forums).Support consultations with senior leaders and subject matter specialists to identify employee and organizational needs and tailor programs accordingly.Experience in project/program management, program evaluation and employee communications.Proficiency and/or aptitude in using HR software, learning management systems, and/or talent development/performance tracking tools.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills for identifying business needs and ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.Fluency in English required, bilingualism in both official languages (English and French) is an asset.To find out more about this role and other exciting opportunities visit our website at www.cihi.ca and check out our 'Careers' section.
