The Job

As the Division Controller Manger, you will report to Senior Manager and Head of the Measurements Systems Division. You will:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's market presence within the sector.
  • Identify, analyze, and pursue new business opportunities, including making cold calls, market research, prospecting, and lead generation in sectors tangential or adjacent to company’s existing sectors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development to execute business strategies and meet objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide insights for product development and business enhancement.
  • Prepare and present business case proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve business development annual targets.
  • Develop and communicate probability of success / risk assessment for pursuit of new business opportunities with associated mitigations.

What you bring to the job

  • Degree in engineering or an otherwise recognized ability to understand and to communicate technical subject matter, as well as general business acumen.
  • Experience selling industrial equipment, automotive materials/metals processing, supplier experience with metal: rolling, stamping, steel facilities processing
  • General understanding of mechanics, electronics and optics.
  • Negotiating and financial skills are preferable.
  • Experience working with global industrial public companies is an asset
