Role Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director – Indigenous Initiatives, the Priority Issues Coordinator (PIC) works collaboratively with the Branch Leadership Team and staff to coordinate and provide timely correspondence on critical and emerging issues. You will triage all incoming Action Requests, determine the nature of their priority, and assign them in a timely manner. You will use your strong writing/editing skills to review all priority branch materials. You will provide confidential support services relating to issues management, ARTS administration and operational matters relative to branch planning and priority coordination. You will track and respond to issues, often under tight timelines; create, coordinate, and manage action requests, briefing notes and communications. You will assist the branch in coordinating consultation and engagement with Indigenous communities and organizations.
