**Role Responsibilities**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Review and/or develop various documents resulting in appropriate communication, understanding of issues, and recommended actions.
- Responsible for ensuring consistency, accuracy and quality control related to the preparation and processing of these documents to ensure final draft materials are complete, accurate and timely.
- Provide divisional integration and oversight to issues management through the development of situation reports, action request metrics reporting and session briefing binders as needed.
- Communicate/liaise within the organization and externally to ensure important information and understanding are retained.
- Identify where inter-ministry communications/engagement may be strained, identify underlying issues and make recommendations on improvements and take actions as appropriate.
- Work with Executive Directors, Directors and Managers to review division issues and plan strategies to respond to requests.
- Provides primary back up for other Issues Coordinators and Executive Advisor (as needed) - assigning and drafting AR's.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- University graduation in a related field such as Arts or Public Administration plus 4 years progressively responsible related experience; or equivalent as described below.
- Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of: 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

- Excellence in concise written communications, with focus on executive level audience communication. Excellent inter-personal skills to establish and maintain relationship.

**Notes**:
This is a permanent, full-time role with the standard weekly work hours of 36.25, Monday to Friday. The incumbent may be requested to work overtime, evening and weekends due to the emergency nature of wildfires.

Travel within the area and throughout the province may be required as part of your responsibilities to coordinate with Ministry staff and colleagues, other government departments, clients, and other external stakeholders.
