Job Summary

The Vision Center Manager is a key leadership role at Walmart Canada, responsible for the overall performance and success of the Vision Center within a retail store. This position requires a strong business acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of optical professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including store management, visual merchandising, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations and maximize sales potential.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements to ensure the Vision Center remains competitive and compliant.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to drive business results and optimize resources.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with optometrists, healthcare providers, and other business partners to drive sales and growth.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in an optical or healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record of leadership, sales growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to drive results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or optical setting.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, preferably including English and French.
