The ideal candidate for the Speech Language Pathologist position will possess:
- Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the relevant regulatory body in Ontario.
- A valid G2/G Driving License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Conducting assessments of clients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities, as well as the factors influencing these areas.
- Demonstrating knowledge of applicable legislation, reflective practice principles, regulations, and policies.
- Employing a systematic approach to decision-making during the development, implementation, and evaluation of client care plans.
- Adapting to a flexible schedule and dynamic work environment.
- Communicating client goals, progress, and status to the Case Manager through written reports and discussions.
- Possessing the physical capability to fulfill the duties associated with this position.
