Qualifications for the Speech Language Pathologist:

  • Active registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the relevant regulatory body in Ontario.
  • Possession of a valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities, along with the influencing factors.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, reflective practice principles, and applicable regulations.
  • Employ a systematic approach to decision-making throughout the development, implementation, and evaluation of client care plans.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule and dynamic environment.
  • Communicate client goals, progress, and status to the Case Manager through written reports and discussions.
  • Possess the physical capabilities necessary to fulfill the duties of the position.
