Please note that this is a Recruitment Administrator opportunity where the main responsibilities include:
- Organize weekly sales meetings for the Ontario region placement staff including calendar management of all internal meetings and managing all meeting minutes
- Provide administrative support by preparing purchase requisitions, expense forms, posting job ads, coordinating courier shipments, etc.
- Assist in writing and posting job ads
- Build relationships with external staffing partners and coordinate job fairs, career fairs, open houses, etc.
- Coordinate candidate testing and the processing of candidate background verification (includes criminal, credit, education, etc.) in a timely manner, maintain tracking of requests
- Provide back-up and coverage for recruitment-related functions and basic administration
- Support onboarding for new contractors
- Welcome, onboard and collect required information from employees and contractors for employment/services agreements
- Maintain internal trackers and client portals, ensuring up-to-date information
These are only some of the things we’d like you to bring to the table:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Reader and web browsers
- Exposure to Applicant Tracking System, Customer Relationship Management systems or HRIS is an asset
- Ability to deliver under pressure with competing deadline
- A Bachelor’s degree or diploma, preferably within Human Resources or a business-related discipline
- Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation skills
- Flexibility, good organization skills, ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; proven ability to work independently as well as to perform effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of working with LinkedIn Recruiter, an asset
