Job Title: Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: 12 months with high possibility of the position becoming permanent

Client: Luxury Retail


Job purpose : Full life-cycle recruitment for Canada retail and corporate roles, with a focus on retail recruitment while building strong relationships with Regionals, Boutique Managers and Corporate Partners.


Tasks & responsibilities :

  • Recruitment Kickoff and Identification of Needs
  • Identify / anticipate the recruitment needs in each market and ensure an efficient and qualitative recruitment process
  • Sourcing Strategy and Talent Pipelining
  • Identify strong retail talents in each market, from sales associate positions in key markets to Boutique Managers
  • Develop a retail network of contacts
  • Mystery shopping - visit the local markets and acquire a deep knowledge of each market specificity and needs.
  • Ensure Talent Experience is in line with Luxury Standards
  • Ensure a qualitative recruitment validation process : phone or in person interviews of each candidate, coordination of interviews, reference check, extension of offers and follow-up to candidates
  • Talent Management in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Management Director
  • Follow KPI and productivity of our sales associates
  • Anticipate succession planning needs and internal mobilities - for both Retail and corporate
  • Partner in developing new Recruitment tools in close partnership with Paris and New York HR teams


Requirements :

  • 5-8 Years of experience required
  • Must be able to work independently and multitask shifting priorities
  • Goal oriented with a strong drive for results
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the business
  • Creative thinker who is able to come up with outside of the box recruitment strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Natural connector & relationship builder
  • Understanding of the Luxury Retail landscape
  • Strong assessment skills, must be able to articulate assessment
  • Able to travel as needed
