**SUMMARY**:
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support each department in determining human capital requirements and work with Hiring Managers to develop an acquisition strategy aimed at acquiring the best possible talent
- Support the acquisition process for Hiring Managers from start to end
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations. Coach and train management as required on legislative compliance and Human Rights issues relating to recruitment and selection
- Participate and assist with talent strategy and planning; support and/or lead objectives and initiatives
- Represent and promote the Company at various recruitment events such as job fairs, educational institutions, etc.
- Maintain various acquisition analytics
- Ensure all paperwork is completed on time and accurately

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or College diploma, with a preference for HR or Commerce
- 1 - 3 years experience in talent acquisition. Experience in retail or recruitment agency an asset.
- Certified Human Resources Professional or Leader designation (CHRP or CHRL) an asset
- Experience with job boards, LinkedIn, and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience in project management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of legislation relating to talent acquisition practices
- Intermediate computer skills
- Flexibility with hours of work. Some travel required.
