**Bookkeeper for Colour and Style Printing, commercial printing firm in Calgary,**
Colour & Style Printing Inc services customers across Canada with a commitment to service, innovation, quality, and quick turnaround.
This position includes reception duties.
**Position Overview**
The Bookkeeper primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Understanding of basic accounting and best practices
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality
- Data Entry
- AP & AR
- Payroll
- AP and AR reconciliation
- including call logs for accts over 60 days
- including call logs for vendor queries
- Organizing and compiling monthly financial reports including reconciling bank statements
- Managing & maintaining specific Client inventories and distribution
- Filing as required
- Telephone receptionist
- Assist in other areas as required, such as Digital Print and bindery.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Record and Organize Financial Data: Accurately record financial transactions in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll systems.
- Reconcile Accounts: Conduct regular bank, credit card, and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Manage Invoices and Payments: Process invoices, track payment statuses, and manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Maintain Financial Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for all financial practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in SAGE 50 Professional
- Receptionist
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum two years proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Preference will be given to those with proficiency in SAGE 50 Professional
- Preference will be given to those who qualify and have Canada Post EST software experience
**Communication**
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a cheerful, courteous, and timely manner.
- Promptly route each call to the proper party, taking messages when necessary.
- Assist callers with general information and inquires.
- Direct visitors to appropriate department.
**Other Details**
Full time Position, Monday to Friday
Extended Benefits Package after a successful probation period.
Compensation based on experience.
Expected hours: 40 per week
