About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Relationship Management to join our team at Rabobank Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Relationship Managers in relation to business development and sales.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural finance and a proven track record of success in leading sales teams. You will be responsible for identifying, selecting, and hiring Relationship Managers and Associates across the franchise, as well as managing succession and career development of key employees.

You will also be responsible for being a sector knowledge expert within the agricultural industry, supporting the team with your expertise. Additionally, you will be accountable for business growth and profitability of the Relationship Management team in line with the franchise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and proactively manage an effective and engaged team of Relationship Managers in relation to business development and sales.
  • Proactively manage the performance of the Managing Director and Area Relationship Managers within the region.
  • Manage succession and the career development of key employees.
  • Proactively engage in the identification, selection, and hiring of Relationship Managers and Associates across the franchise, in collaboration with the Managing Director and other strategic leaders.
  • Be a relevant sector knowledge expert within the agricultural industry, supporting the team with this expertise.
  • Accountable for business growth and profitability of the Relationship Management team in line with the franchise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of ag-related financial services experience.
  • Must have a passion for agriculture and understand the producer experience.
  • Previous leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in leading sales teams.
  • Must have led sales teams and be willing to travel extensively.
  • Must have Canadian experience.
  • Ability to travel regionally and globally, more than 50%.

Salary Expectations

Target Hiring Range: CAD $150,000.00 - $200,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank/Rabobank Canada's compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range.
