About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agricultural Business Development Leader to join our team at Rabobank Gruppe. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Relationship Managers to drive business growth and development in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Motivate a High-Performing Team: You will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a team of Relationship Managers to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the agricultural sector.
  • Business Development and Sales: You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales growth in the agricultural sector.
  • Performance Management: You will be responsible for managing the performance of the Relationship Managers, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure they are equipped to meet business objectives.
  • Succession Planning and Career Development: You will be responsible for identifying and developing future leaders within the organization, ensuring a smooth transition of leadership roles and career development opportunities for key employees.
  • Expertise in Agricultural Industry: You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments, providing expert advice and guidance to the team on agricultural industry matters.
  • Business Growth and Profitability: You will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability in the agricultural sector, working closely with the Managing Director and other strategic leaders to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: You will have a proven track record of leadership experience, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Agricultural Industry Knowledge: You will have a deep understanding of the agricultural industry, with a strong network of contacts and relationships within the sector.
  • Business Development and Sales: You will have a proven track record of business development and sales, with a strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Coaching and Development: You will have a strong ability to coach and develop others, with a proven track record of developing future leaders within an organization.
  • Canadian Experience: You will have a strong understanding of the Canadian market, with a proven track record of working in the Canadian agricultural sector.
