Job Title: Director - Relationship Management - Prairie

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director - Relationship Management - Prairie to join our team at Rabobank Canada. As a key member of our Agricultural Banking division, you will be responsible for leading a team of Relationship Managers in business development and sales, while also managing the performance of the Managing Director in the Area Relationship Managers within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and proactively manage an effective and engaged team of Relationship Managers in relation to business development and sales.
  • Proactively manage the performance of the Managing Director in the Area Relationship Managers within the region.
  • Manage succession and the career development of key employees.
  • Proactively engage in the identification, selection, and hiring of Relationship Managers and Associates across the franchise, in collaboration with the Managing Director and other strategic leaders.
  • Be a relevant sector knowledge expert within the agricultural industry, supporting the team with this expertise and informing other stakeholders with knowledge and expertise.
  • Accountable for business growth and profitability of the Relationship Management team in line with the franchise.
  • Ownership of the commercial performance of the Relationship Management team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of ag-related financial services experience.
  • Must love agriculture and understand the producer experience.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Must have led sales teams and be willing to travel extensively.
  • Must have Canadian experience.
  • Ability to travel regionally and globally, more than 50%.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: CAD $150,000.00 - $200,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank/Rabobank Canada's compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons.
